AIR FORCE ACADEMY CENSORS PROFESSOR FOR DISCUSSING GAYS IN THE MILITARY
 A Lieutenant Colonel who taught at the Air Force Academy was punished after she invited three Academy alumni to campus to discuss sexual minorities in the military. This comes alongside new Pentagon data showing that women made up a majority of Air Force discharges under the "don't ask, don't tell" policy in 2008. (Read more.)

PENTAGON PUBLICATION REVEALS SHIFTING VIEWS ON GAYS
 An official Pentagon journal has published a report calling for the repeal of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. The article, entitled, "The Efficacy of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,'" was written by Col. Om Prakash, and appears in the new issue of Joint Force Quarterly. (Read more.)
CONGRESSMAN SEEKS INQUIRY INTO NAVY'S ANTI-GAY ABUSE
 Representative Joe Sestak has written a letter to the Secretary of the Navy requesting an inquiry into the promotion of the officer who oversaw a two-year train of abuses against a gay sailor. (Read more.)
