SANTA BARBARA, CA - A retired Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy was incorrectly listed as a signatory of a statement urging Congress to repeal the current ban on openly gay troops.  The Admiral, William Retz, did not sign the statement.  Since the release of the original statement, Major General Lawrence Johnson, U.S Army Reserve (ret.), has added his name to the list of signatories.
